Japanese Beetles Are Lacing Up Leaves Across North Atlanta

Post Copy

Peak beetle season means lacy, skeletonized leaves on crape myrtles, ornamentals, and some maples. The beetles cluster, so one section of a tree can look stripped while the rest looks fine.

A few damaged leaves is cosmetic. Widespread skeletonization on an already-stressed tree is worth a look.

Seeing beetle damage on anything in your yard this summer?
