Tree Risk Inspections: Catching Hazards Before Storm Season Peaks in Baltimore and York Counties

Post Copy

A full tree risk inspection looks at more than what's obvious from the driveway. We check the root flare for signs of decay, look up through the canopy for dead or hanging limbs, and examine the trunk for cracks, cavities, or fungal growth that often gets missed from ground level.

Summer storms move fast through Baltimore and York Counties, and saturated soil combined with a full leaf canopy puts more strain on a tree than most people realize. An inspection now means a weak limb or a compromised trunk gets addressed on our schedule, not during a storm warning.

Three generations of working these properties has taught us what to look for that isn't always visible at first glance, the early signs that separate a tree that needs a trim from one that needs closer attention.

Has it been a while since anyone took a real look at the trees closest to your house?
