Bagworms are hitting South Jersey arborvitae hedges this week

Post Copy

Small cone-shaped bags on your arborvitae or privacy hedge? That's bagworms, and early July is when they become visible after feeding all spring.

Evergreens don't grow leaves back the way deciduous trees do, so a bad infestation can leave permanent bare patches in a hedge.

Checked your hedge lately?
