Not every large tree can come down the traditional way. On the tight, established lots common in Arlington and McLean, a tree too close to a house or power line to climb and section safely calls for a different approach: crane-assisted removal.
A crane lifts sections of the tree directly out and away from structures, rather than lowering them through tight space by hand. That control matters most on mature trees in dense neighborhoods, where one miscalculation can mean real damage to a roof or driveway.
We plan every crane job in advance, mapping access, overhead lines, and the safest lift path before equipment arrives. It's a more involved process, and one we take on because some of our neighborhoods' most valuable trees require it.
Crane work isn't the right call for every removal, but when it is, it's the difference between a clean job and a damaged property. Fully licensed and insured, serving Arlington, McLean, Fairfax, and the greater DC metro area.

An in-progress crane removal shot, ideally showing the crane lifting a tree section clear of a house or driveway. An aerial or wide shot that conveys scale and precision works well. Authentic job photos are strongly preferred over stock imagery.
