Contractors and fabricators planning fall projects are already running into it: national distributors quoting longer lead times as demand picks back up heading into September and October. Mid-July is the window to get ahead of that squeeze.
Because our structural steel, aluminum, and stainless are already in stock and cut to order, there is no lead time to plan around for the sizes and shapes we carry. A contractor sourcing materials now for a fall build does not have to guess whether a national supplier's delivery estimate will hold in eight weeks.
It is a small planning shift with a real payoff: locking in local availability now instead of discovering a scheduling gap in September when the whole market is trying to order at once.
Are you already planning material needs for fall projects, or does that usually happen closer to the start date?
