Remodeling has long been seen as a male-dominated trade, but that picture is changing across metro Atlanta, and NARI Atlanta's Women In Construction group is part of why. It brings together women working across design, project management, the trades, and business ownership within the remodeling industry.
The group exists for the same reasons any strong professional network does: mentorship, shared experience, and a place to talk through the specific challenges of building a career in a field that has not always made space for women. It is open to members at every stage, from someone just starting out to a business owner with decades in the field.
Representation in this industry matters, both for the women building careers in it and for the homeowners and clients who see a fuller picture of who is doing this work.
What's one thing you wish more people understood about the women working in construction and remodeling today?
