NARI Cares, NARI Atlanta's community outreach initiative, channels the skilled trades our member firms practice every day into home repairs for neighbors who could not otherwise afford them. Roof repairs, safety hazard fixes, and accessibility modifications for aging or disabled homeowners are typical projects.
For member firms, participating is not just a values statement. It is real project experience delivered under real constraints, working alongside other member professionals, building relationships across the chapter, and demonstrating a firm's craftsmanship to a wider community than paid clients alone would ever see. It is also a concrete answer for firms building out their own community engagement or ESG-adjacent messaging without inventing something from scratch.
It is a genuine reminder that the professional community NARI Atlanta builds extends past referrals and business development into work that has nothing to do with either.
Has your firm found volunteer or pro bono project work to have any measurable effect on team morale, retention, or new business relationships?
