A tree can look fine from the driveway and still be in trouble. Many of the problems that matter most, from early decay to root issues, start where an untrained eye never looks.
When an ISA-certified arborist walks a San Antonio property, the assessment is systematic. We check the root flare and base for fungus and cavities, read the trunk for cracks and included bark, and study the canopy for deadwood, thinning, and signs of stress from our summer heat.
The goal is not to sell a removal. It is to catch small problems while they are still fixable and to flag genuine hazards before they become emergencies. Sometimes the answer is a light prune. Sometimes it is patience and a follow-up next season.
When was the last time a professional looked closely at the trees around your home?
