Bagworms Showing Up on Chattanooga Evergreens Right Now

Post Copy

Small, spindle-shaped bags hanging on your cedars or arborvitae? That's bagworm season in the Chattanooga area, and July is when the damage really starts to show.

Left alone, they can strip a young evergreen bare by late summer. Caught early, treatment is simple and the tree recovers fine.

Have you spotted anything hanging off your evergreens this year? A quick photo can usually tell us what we're dealing with.
